After so many vague allusions to my "new job," "latest project," "big news," etc., I'm so excited to finally be able to share this with you! The luxury knitwear line I've co-founded, ERLUM Alpaca, officially launched last week! ERLUM's debut collection consists of high quality, ethically handmade alpaca knitwear for women, timeless classics with a modern edge.
I've been working on this for over two years now, quitting my job last March to focus on it exclusively. After so many hours spent refining our vision, revising prototypes, and agonizing over every little detail down to the gift boxes and hangtags, to have the website up and our debut collection available for sale is surreal to say the least. For me, this launch represents not only the first big career milestone that I've been proud of, but also so many lessons learned along the way, so many instances of stepping out of my comfort zone and pushing past fear and self-doubt when I didn't think it was possible.
