New Shoes, and Why Is It Stiiiill Raining??

I found these Sperry Top-Siders on clearance at Nordstrom Rack for $24, and was pleasantly surprised when they rang up for $12.  Score!  I know they're not seasonally appropriate in this wet, gloomy weather that we're having, but despite the white, I totally see myself wearing them long into fall.  With navy trousers and a ruffle blouse?  Or maybe skinny jeans, a white tee, and a navy blazer... The possibilities are endless.

By the way, I'm wearing Sperry Top-Siders now?  Does that officially make me a true Maryland resident?

Also, I'm loving these photos from last night's Fashion's Night Out in NYC. Special appearances by Dakota Fanning, Carmelo Anthony, Justin Bieber, and Coco Rocha, just to name a few.  Must have been hard to decide which stores to hit! (I'm deeply determined to attend FNO in NYC one of these years.) Were any of you there?
