I love looking at the way people style vignettes within their homes. Something about the little groupings of items feels so personal and intimate. Placing a carefully chosen selection of belongings on a tray seems to say, "I find these objects necessary, useful, or important enough to display them in my home." Of course a tray is not essential in a vignette but it is such a simple, pretty way to create order out of randomness.
